Norton and Friends: Cher/Keira Knightley/Michael Fassbender/Josh Brolin/Jalen Ngonda (2024). John le Carré would be pleased with this spy thriller.
I’ve always liked John Magaro
The writing is very adult, and it is not afraid to take its time, allowing the story and intrigue to unfold. Michael Fassbender is brilliantly cast as the Martian. Jeffrey Wright, always great, is brilliant in this complex role of Harry Ogletree. It’s great to see Richard Gere back as the London office manager after he thought Hollywood had given up on him.
Jodie Turner-Smith is a great performer as Sami Zahira
I mentioned John Le Carré at the beginning because this series unfolds like a great spy novel. You have to get into the rhythms and nuances of it, not the car chases and the shooting!
