Chronology
Elphaba, a misunderstood young woman because of her green skin, and Glinda, a popular girl, become friends at Shiz University in Oz. Cynthia Erivo in Wicked and other actors who completely transformed themselves for their roles.
Glinda: Do not be afraid
The name of the Wicked Witch, Elphaba, was created by taking the phonetic pronunciation of the initials of the original author of “The Wizard of Oz”, L. Frank Baum, L-F-B, which became Elphaba.
Elphaba: I am not afraid
It is the Wizard who should be afraid of me. The Universal Pictures logo has the globe in pink (representing Glinda) and the company name in green (representing Elphaba).
