Colin Farrell fought hard to get his version of the tobacco-smoking Penguin in Batman (2022), but failed
After the events of “Batman” (2022), Oz Cobb, aka The Penguin, tries to seize control of the underworld of Gotham. Except for the bat signal in the last shot of the season finale, we never see our Robert Pattinson “The Penguin”; In this short video IMDb tries to answer: “Where was Batman?”.
The umbrella falls and the logo changes to the Warner Bros
However, in his own series, the character is depicted as a casual tobacco smoker who prefers cigars. logo.

The first episode of Matt Reeves' Batman and I think that those who haven’t seen the last one will be a little confused. But some time ago, I watched “Batman”, and the series did a wonderful job, quickly repeating what the movie ended with, and not becoming a didactic paraphrase.
Perhaps this character has nothing to do with the comic book version at all, but he is interesting in his own way
It perfectly conveys the aesthetic and dark tone of the film, but the series has more moments of sly frivolity than the film. As in “Batman”, Colin Farrell perfectly copes with the role of Penguin as a stereotypical mafia “street boy”: vulgar, impure, unstable and prone to violence; But he is smart, cunning and knows how to read people.
But for now, this is a great start
I have my doubts about the show that the penguins put on in their teens; And I don’t know if the “Penguin’s” shenanigans will be enough to last the whole season.
