Jean Reno filmed scenes for the film, but they were completely cut from the finished film. I gave myself time to think about this film, valuing my precious time… if possible, I would not only ask the Zurich Film Festival for a refund, but also sue for damages for my precious hour wasted. I must admit that Nicole Kidman’s acting style is not my cup of tea (in my opinion, The Hours remains her only masterpiece), so I was interested and curious to see the reasons behind the Volpi Cup Best for Best Actress at the recent Venice Film Festival. I found the film Babygirl; to be insanely boring, vulgarly funny, incredibly boring, because it lacked a spark of sensuality due to unconvincing performances and a weak and predictable story.
